Development History
- 1995 Shanghai Waysmos was established and became the first HFC227ea manufacturer in China.
- 2003 Waysmos became the first company in Asia to receive UL approval for HFC227ea.
- 2004 New branch and warehouse were established in Hong Kong.
- 2009 HFC227ea plant relocated to Quzhou, a very robust and secure supply chain was established.
- 2010 New branch and warehouse were established in USA.
- 2011 Waysmos expanded its production line to HFC236fa and HFC125.
- 2012 Waysmos became the first company in Asia to receive FM approval for HFC227ea, UL approval for HFC236fa and HFC125.
- 2013 Acquired Shanghai Kidde, a company specialized in manufacturing foam concentrate, which was renamed to Shanghai Waysmos Fire Suppression Fighting Co.,Ltd.This acquisition reinforced Waysmos’ singular focus and dedication to fire suppression chemicals.
- 2014 A new Waysmos R&D center was setup in Shanghai.
- 2015 Success from the R&D center via a technological breakthrough for HFC236fa extinguishers.
- 2016 Waysmos expanded its production line to FK5112 and received UL approval for FK5112.
- 2018 Waysmos received FM approval for FK5112.
